Ubuntu Forums Unanswered Posts Team Update

This Sunday, I have done quite a many things in relation to the Ubuntu Forums Unanswered Posts Team, the team I colead. The two biggest ones are:

  • The addition of a official Twitter feed with associated bot placed in the IRC chat. All UA members and others interested are suggested to follow @uateam and/or subscribe to the RSS feed provided by Twitter
  • The addition of a official team news blog at http://ua.codechunk.net/blog . All UA members are requested to subscribe to the RSS feed at the bottom of the page or, if your RSS reader does not like the method the software uses to publish feeds, you can subscribe to the Feedburner feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/UbuntuForumsUnansweredPostsTeamNews . All further news on the team is to be published there. Keep in mind that the news blog is on my home server so, if it gets taken out, so will the feed. The Feedburner feed will remain, though.

    • That should be all for now. For those subscribed to the Launchpad Team mailing list, you will be getting a post in your email inboxes sometime later tonight.

    The Ubuntu Forums Unanswered Posts Team convened on the date of November 21, 2009 at 23:21:00UTC to discuss the following:

    • New Member Nominations

    We welcomed new members TuxPurple and stlsaint to the team.
    The meeting was approximately ~10-15 minutes long.
    The meeting convened later than the planned time of 22:00UTC due to the leader being absent.

    Ubuntu Forums Unanswered Posts Team Meeting

    The Ubuntu Forums Unanswered Posts Team will be having a meeting on September 26, 2009 at 19:00UTC.

    As some of you may, or may not, know, the UA has has a revival of sorts recently. We elected new leaders in the absence of the previous leader (who has since returned, and stayed leader, along with the new leaders), myself being one. I have been trying to get members together and re-spark interest in the team. I, hopefully, have done/been doing a good job :) .
